2005 silverado shimmy front end steering gay incest text files
My truck is 2wd with rack and pinion steering, I have a shudder or fast bounce only when I hit a bump at any speed and a slight vibration from mph. I believe the shudder is coming from the rear. I have installed new quality Moog components in the front: upper control arms, lower control arms, wheel hubs, outer tie rods, sway bar end links, and sway bar bushings. I ve also installed new Bilstein shocks all around.
Front wheels "shimmy" and steering wheel wobbles when applying brakes - Recent new tires, all new front end. Only when applying breaks (how do you diagnose warped rotors).
Shudder or bounce after hitting bump VL Silverado
I have a Chevy silverado when I get to 70 mph there is a slight vibration In the steering. This vibration will get worse. If I hit the brakes to slow down it becomes a violent vibration. Then when the truck is slowed down under 20 mph the vibration goes away. Recently I have found that when the vibration happens that when at speed if I hit the brakes the vibration will fade away.

Mechanic just replaced most of the front-end parts, break job, and new tires last month. Would like to be more knowledgeable before taking truck back due to this breaking issue. DavidH25 answered 5 years ago. Warped rotors.
Shimmy in steering wheel. Seems to come and go at about 7 second intervals. Suspension, tires, balance, alignment all check OK. One mechanic suggested steering rack valve problem. Could the computer possibly have anything to do with the 7 second interval?
